Understanding the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme, NDIS, provides funding to eligible people with a ‘permanent and significant’ disability to get the support they need to gain more time with family and friends, experience greater levels of independence, access new skills and jobs, and improve their quality of life.
It does this by providing individualised funding for reasonable and necessary supports that are related to a person’s disability.
Castle has been an NDIS registered service provider since its trial in Newcastle in 2013.

The first step is to check whether you are eligible to access the NDIS. Follow the link to the am I eligible page, on the NDIS government website.
Here you will be able to determine if you are eligible, by going through the NDIS checklist. This includes things like your age, residency status and the nature of your disability.

NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits
The NDIA sets the price for some supports to make sure they provide value for money for participants.
Prices are updated regularly by the NDIA. The NDIA may also make updates the types of supports available and the way they are charged and delivered by providers.
