Castle NDIS Programs are designed to help you explore new interests, build your skills, and connect with others in a supportive, welcoming space.
We have a variety of group programs to choose from, and dedicated support workers ready to go the extra mile.
We also offer tailored 1:1 support to help explore your unique goals and interests.
Suitable for teens and adults, Castle group and 1:1 programs are delivered in the community, and at one of our dedicated hubs in Mayfield, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Lake Haven, 6 days per week.
Group Programs
From gaming and anime groups to hands-on adventures, active and skill-building experiences, we’re here to help you thrive, reach your goals and make lasting friendships.

Living skills
- Creative. Express yourself through sensory activities and projects. In this program, you will have the opportunity to plan what you are going to create, shop for supplies and paint, draw, sew, write and many more activities for you to get creative.
- Active. Connect socially with peers while doing an activity outdoors. Activities may include going fishing, bush walks, BBQs and doing exercise.
- Adventure day. Empowering you to get out of your comfort zone. Activities may include planning and budgeting a day out, trying something new, cooking something new and more.
- Mind Body Soul. Do some cooking, have fun and socialise with like-minded peers while building your skills and confidence for independent living.
Social programs
- Anime. A program designed for anime enthusiasts, build social connections amongst people with similar interests. Discover and learn graphics, comics, cartooning and freelance art.
- Bowling. Connecting socially with peers and keeping active. You can have friendly competitions with your peers.
- Men’s connect. A program design for men to come together and have an opportunity to talk about common interests, make friends and explore their community together.
- Social day. Interact with peers, make friends, explore your local community and plan your diaries by discussing and agreeing on a plan with your peers.
- Social gaming. Expand your problem-solving skills while having fun through gaming and teamwork.
- Social night. Get together with other people, discuss and agree on a plan and make friends while socialising.
Job readiness and employment
- Castle Café - our on-site café servicing the staff at Castle. Participants are supported to learn valuable work skills such as money-handling, taking customer orders, making coffee, planning and budgeting menu items and cooking and delivering dishes.
- Box Divvy - Pack fresh fruit and vegetable orders to meet customer orders. Improve addition and subtraction skills, work as a team and enhance communication skills.
One-to-One Support

In addition to our group programs, Castle also offers individualised supports to assist you in pursuing your unique goals and interests. Our dedicated caring support workers are here to help you to live, work and learn at a time and location that works best for you.

Funding
Castle generally delivers group and individual support through NDIS participants' Core Social, Capacity Building Social, Capacity Building Employment and SLES plan funding.
