What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) facilitates support for people with a ‘permanent and significant’ disability so that they may live independently, participate socially and economically. The NDIS provides individualised funding for 'reasonable and necessary' supports to help people with a disability live full and meaningful lives.

Castle has been an NDIS registered service provider since it's trial in Newcastle in 2013. We will listen to you and work with you to make sure you get the most out of your NDIS journey. We offer teams that provide you with hands-on experience learning real-life skills. This gives you the opportunity to gain confidence in making friends, communicating with co-workers and confidence to live your life.

Check out our Castello House, where our participants learn to life skills, how to manage a home and most importantly, how to cook delicious, nutritious meals.
