School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) is an NDIS funded support under the Capacity Building category Finding and Keeping a Job.

SLES is designed to help recent school leaver to build the skills, confidence and independence they need to take the next step towards employment after leaving school.

In 2027, the NDIS is changing how support for school leavers works, with SLES funding gradually being phased out and transitioning to a broader approach called Employment Assistance by 30 June 2027.

Castle supports NDIS participants with both SLES and Employment Assistance funding through our NDIS Employment Assistance service. Participants receive one-on-one support, working on a range of employment-focused modules that are tailored to suit their goals and needs.

Suitable participants can also access Castle's Supported Employment service, earning a supported wage and receiving hands-on guidance in a real workplace.
